Vamsi Akella

Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer

As Head of Risk at L&T Finance (2022–24), Vamsi led Enterprise, Credit, Operational, and Model Risk through the firm's transition from infrastructure lender to retail NBFC — a period in which the retail book scaled from roughly ₹38,000 Cr to ₹90,000 Cr. He built India's first NBFC Model Risk Management framework and L&T Finance's first comprehensive Enterprise Risk Management policy, and steered multiple RBI audits and special reviews with no material observations.

Earlier, as a Global Relationship Banker at HSBC, he managed the bank's relationships with Wipro, Tata Global Beverages, Titan, and Infosys; and at Standard Chartered he was on the deal team for the Tata–Corus, Tata–JLR, and Tata Chemicals–General Chemicals cross-border acquisitions. He was also a Director in IDFC Bank's Large Corporates group across Karnataka, Telangana, and Andhra Pradesh.
